HAF
encourages social development for rural
and urban communities through the establishment of Community Based
Organizations (CBOs) These organizations
mobilize community development issues and allow the
communities to identify their own problems,
prioritize their needs and try to find solutions to their problems.
HAF
at present operates in 59 villages of the remotest rural area of
Bagh District, Azad Kashmir co-operating with more
than 1055 men and women, organized into 59 Community Based
Organizations (CBOs).
The support, which
HAF offers to communities, concentrates on the promotion and
management of Education, Health, Environment and Natural Resource
Management, Micro-credit & Enterprise Development, Human
Resource Development, Poverty
Alleviation and Community Infrastructure Development; through
a self-help approach.
